First screening-Audience reactions

Our inital screenings of our film was shown to a class of media students who were also participating in the task to create a 2 minute film opening. The film was shown twice and they were told to write down feedback for us, telling us what genere they thought it was, the name of the film, what went well with the film and what we could do to improve it.

Most of the audience noticed what the film name was and what type of genre the film was, this was one of the good points we have got from this reveiw showing us that we were able to get the convections of an action film down for people to notice this. However,we recieved feedback that we sould take out our "directed by" and "filmed by" in the opening titles as we only needed our names in the opening two minute's, however this was easily adjusted to say the correct terms.
There were two main problems with our film that the reviews pickedup on the first issue was the issue of the lighting in some scenes as they were filmed at night to fit with the conventions of a 'break-in'. This was not able to be fixed as we couldent refilm because there would be different cars on the street effecting the continuity of our film, and we diden't want to risk the brighting of the film through the copmputer as this may make the picture even worse.
The second problem with our film was the 'fight scene' as many of the reviews said it was too 'unrealistic' as the hand was far away from the face and the push was to slow and fake. This was an easy fix as all we needed to do is refilm the shot.
However the most important review we needed to take on bard was our media teacher Miss Street, she gave us some suggestions for improvement; she said to remove the ending out of the film to make way for more 'insight' into the character of monroe and how she can fight by adding monroe boxing at the start.
The reviews have given us constructive critisim so we can take that away to further better our film.
