How we chose the genre

Genre
  • Thriller
  • Horror
  • Comedy
  • Romance
  • Psychological/horror
  • Crime
  • Chick flick
We narrowed down the possible candidates for our opening film, we narrowed it down to Thriller, Horror and Crime. We then thrown out horror as we decided this have been done too many times. we then opted for the Crime/Thriller. As our plot evolved  and became more detailed we then realised that our film is more action than crime.

What needs to be done over the holidays

A Location shoot

we need to do a location to find out what shots we are doing where and how the film will go together.

Shot List
A shot list needs to be done during the making of the story board, this needs to be done in chronological order so that we can follow this during the filming.

Story Board
we will be using still pictures from the location shot for our story board so it is easier for us to  create the scenes exactly.

Credits

The titles will scroll in over the film as it starts. This will work better because it means we can get more of the film in and the titles wont take too much time out of the the 2 minutes we have been allowed.

Film Titles

Monroe
This was our inital idea for the name of our film. Monroe is the surname of the main character in our film. It is similar to  the 'Bourne' films, these are also part of the same genre we're trying to achieve it seems to be good.

Subject: Monroe
This title is similar to the first but it focuses more on the main character as she is a 'part' of the puzzle. The way it's written shows that the 'subject' could change this creates room for a sequel to follow after.
