Shot list/Location shoot 7-9

7.This shot was initially meant to be the line we tracked stella's feet with, however due to the costume change we had to scrap this idea.
8.After Stella's walking the camera will then be next to the house and stella will walk around the bush and towards the hous.
9. This is an over the shoulder shot of Stella looking at the window seeing the flashes of torches in the house, this helps us create the tension we wanted in the scene.

Shot list/Location shoot 4-6

4. This shot was originally intended to be filmed from the doors perspective looking at us breaking in, however we thought that this shot would be too difficult to film so we decided to do a shot from the side of Liam watching us 'break in' to the door.
5. The camera will be on the arm rest of the chair in the living room looking out to the doorway, the lighting will be dark when we film as all of the lights will be off, so you can just make out people walking past as we shined the torches towards the camera to try and build up tension and mystery.

6. The camera then cut's to a close up of Stella's feet tracking her as she walks along the pavement, we also want to have the synchronous sound of the footsteps to build up tension while she is walking in this scene

Shot list/Location Shoot 1-3

1.The first shot where Stella will be tracking me, liam and adam running round the corner of the lane towards the house.

 2. Stella will continue to track us as we run past the camera.

3. Still continuing the shot Stella is tracking us right to the door of the house, which then cuts to a different shot.

Costumes

We could not find our initial costume for Agent M(work clothes) this was challenging the traditional stereotype of women. We had to slightly change the costume as we could not find the appropriate clothes, there was a gym at the end of the road so that we decided to change the costume to gym clothes. However, this still challenges the traditional stereotype of women as they traditionally don't go to the gym and work out.

How we chose the genre

Genre
  • Thriller
  • Horror
  • Comedy
  • Romance
  • Psychological/horror
  • Crime
  • Chick flick
We narrowed down the possible candidates for our opening film, we narrowed it down to Thriller, Horror and Crime. We then thrown out horror as we decided this have been done too many times. we then opted for the Crime/Thriller. As our plot evolved  and became more detailed we then realised that our film is more action than crime.

What needs to be done over the holidays

A Location shoot

we need to do a location to find out what shots we are doing where and how the film will go together.

Shot List
A shot list needs to be done during the making of the story board, this needs to be done in chronological order so that we can follow this during the filming.

Story Board
we will be using still pictures from the location shot for our story board so it is easier for us to  create the scenes exactly.
